My experience of 'New Media'

I'm not to sure if we have to post a separate blog on our experiences of 'New Media' as this is sort of mentioned in topic one for this week. But here we go anyway!

I use 'New Media' a lot with out even realising it. Everyday I come into contact with some form of 'New Media' whether this is by choice or for University purposes. The internet plays a massive part in my life, maybe more than I would like to admit. I use it everyday with out fail, whether its emailing my Mum or Nan to update them on what's happening up here! Or if its going on facebook to contact friends from home and anywhere in the world. I also use it to shop online and get things that are unavailable to me here in Lincoln, and I also use it for informational purposes, mainly to do with my University work, to research some kind of topic and gain a wide knowledge. Thats why I think its so great, it's useful to everyone. At least anyone with access to a computer and an internet provider. 

I also use interactive TV quite a lot, to catch up on programmes I have missed or just to watch something good, when nothing else is on real-time Tv. 

Most days I also come into contact with 'New Media' formats such as CD's, DVD's and My MP3 player. I use all these things with out even thinking about it. There a part of my everyday life. I always have a CD or my MP3 player on to listen to music.

Thats all I can think of right now.
